Jennifer Neuman is a legal assistant at Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP with over 20 years of experience. As Attorney Robert K. Ginther's legal assistant, Jennifer assists with financial institution foreclosures; business collections and small claims; real estate; estate planning; and probating estates. She has worked with Attorney Ginther since returning to the firm in December 2010. Jennifer previously worked at CJMM for 13 years with attorneys Clyde C. Cross, Karen A. Mercer, Wayne L. Maffei and Jerome P. Mercer assisting with various types of law before leaving to raise her family.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys walking, spending time with her family and friends, and watching her nieces and nephews participate in various activities. 

Bethany Sleight-Prindle

Bethany Sleight-Prindle has been a legal assistant at Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP since July of 2012. Bethany primarily assists attorneys Wayne Maffei and Nicole Marklein in personal injury matters. She additionally assists the firm in bookkeeping. 

Bethany received a Bachelor of Arts degree from UW-Wisconsin Madison where she majored in anthropology, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and an Associate Degree in Accounting from Madison College in Madison, WI. 

Bethany practiced in chiropractic clinics in Wisconsin Rapids, Baraboo and Poynette before realizing she was better suited to assisting behind the scenes. She enjoys using her healthcare background to analyze medical records and assist the attorneys with building strong cases for the firm's clients.

Bethany lives outside of Baraboo with her family. She enjoys photography, reading and spending time outside. 

Susan M. Macias

Susan M. Macias is a Wisconsin State Bar Certified Paralegal who has been with the firm since 2015. Susan has 5 years of family law experience helping Attorney Brittney A. Busalacchi build her family law practice as well as municipal law experience working with Attorney Richard W. Cross for the Village of Lake Delton. In addition, she has additional experience and knowledge in general Transaction Law, including but not limited to, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate, Small Claims and Evictions.

When Susan is not working, she enjoys spending her time with her three children, boating, exploring new places outdoors or rehabbing old furniture/decor. 

Alexis C. Rathkamp

Alexis C. Rathkamp is a Wisconsin State Bar Certified Paralegal who has been with the firm since 2016. Alexis obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Legal Studies Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Alexis works directly with Attorneys Wayne L. Maffei and Nicole Marklein and focuses in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, labor and employment and municipal law. She additionally helps the firm with IT and marketing. Alexis is a member of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin. 

When not at work, Alexis enjoys golfing, traveling to new places and camping.

Binnie A. Simon

Binnie A. Simon joined the firm as a receptionist in February 2019. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in different financial institutions and has applied those skills when assisting the firm in bookkeeping. Binnie has an Associate Degree in Music and uses her creativity in managing the firm's social media pages.

When Binnie is not working, you can often find her in the theater either performing, designing or directing. 

Nancy L. Engebretson

Nancy L. Engebretson is Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP's Business Manager. Prior to coming to CJMM, she worked at Seats Incorporated for 20 years. During that time, she served multiple roles in Sales, including Customer Service Manager and Marketing. Most recently, she was part of the management team who transferred to Chariton Iowa to help Seats Incorporated's new Metals Plant. In Iowa, she served as both the Human Resource Coordinator and Office Manager.

In her spare time, Nancy enjoys motorcycle rides, traveling, camping, pursuing creative interests, and most importantly, spending time with her extended family.
