Attorney Bussan is a partner of CJMM with over twenty years of experience. Attorney Bussan's practice focuses primarily on municipal and employment law, but she also has experience in business startups and disputes, contract law, leases and commercial leases.
Attorney Bussan has been with the firm since graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2000.
She has experience in almost every facet of county, city, village and town municipal law, from simple ordinance enforcement to complex municipal construction contracts.
In her employment law practice, Attorney Bussan advises local governments and businesses in all areas including family and medical leave, discrimination and termination decisions and wage issues. She defends businesses when claims are made by employees and, on occasion, represents employees in wrongful termination cases.
Attorney Bussan is the President of the Sauk County Bar. She has served as an instructor for the Skills Intensive Training part of the Lawyering Skills Program at the University of Wisconsin Law School and has lectured on contracts at a local community college. She also serves as a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin Fee Arbitration Panel for her district.
