Jennifer L. Opperman
Jennifer Opperman is a Legal Assistant at Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP with over 20 years of experience. As Attorney Robert K. Ginther’s legal assistant, Jennifer assists with financial institution foreclosures; business collections and small claims; real estate; estate planning; and probating estates. She has worked with Attorney Ginther since returning to the firm in December 2010. Jennifer previously worked at CJMM for 13 years with attorneys Clyde C. Cross, Karen A. Mercer, Wayne L. Maffei and Jerome P. Mercer assisting with various types of law before leaving to raise her family.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys walking, spending time with her family and friends, and watching her nieces and nephews participate in various activities.
Kari Adams
Kari Adams is a Paralegal at Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP.
She graduated from Western Technical College in LaCrosse in 1999 with a paralegal degree and has worked with law firms and title companies throughout the state as well as attorney Laura Colt in Reedsburg prior to joining our firm.
Kari is married with two children – Connor and Kallie. In her spare time she enjoys being around family and friends, and enjoys attending concerts and sporting events. She is a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.
When she is not at home, you will find Kari at the baseball field cheering on her son and his teammates.
Deb Meyer
Deb is our Business Manager at Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP.
She is married and lives in the Baraboo/Dells area. She enjoys spending time with family.
She especially enjoys doing ‘fun’ craft projects with her granddaughter, taking walks and watching Badger & Packer football games.
Lillian J. Hoving
Lillian Hoving is a Legal Assistant at Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei LLP who is currently enrolled in Madison Area Technical College pursuing her paralegal degree. She brings over eight years of experience in customer service to CJMM.
